iPhone 4 Hardware Executive Leaves Apple
Mark Papermaster, Apple’s senior Vice President of iPhone hardware left Apple because of iPhone 4 antenna saga. Yet it is not clear either Mr. Papermaster resigned by himself or he was ousted.
NYorkTimes report says that according to Apple’s spokesman:
“Mr. Papermaster is leaving the company and Bob Mansfield, senior vice president of Macintosh hardware engineering, is assuming his responsibilities. As Mansfield already oversees several technologies that are part of the iPhone, including the A4 chip, the retina display and touch screens.”
Mr. Papermaster was contacted on phone by NYorkTimes after the incident but he declined to comment on issue.
